YouTube Watch lets one participant share a video so everyone in the room watches together.
Enable the feature
YouTube watch party can be gated behind Settings → Experimental → YouTube watch party. Enable it before you expect the share control to appear.
Share a video
- Open the share / YouTube dialog from meeting controls.
- Paste a valid YouTube URL.
- The watch overlay should play for you and for other participants in the room.
Playback sync
Play, pause, and seek (as implemented) should roughly stay in sync for remote viewers. Exact frame-level lock is not guaranteed on poor networks; small drift can appear.
Errors and close
| Situation | Expected |

| Invalid URL | Clear error; no blank hang |
| Close watch | Overlay gone for both sides |
| Toggle with stage / whiteboard | Should not permanently break those modes |
